The area has seen massive investments in the last decade and has been selected as the top ski resort in the east for several years. The improvements to the facilities are not limited to skiing and the new golf and tennis courses that are part of the lakeside resort. The number of visitors to the area is now greater in the summer than the winter. With this large number of people the area now supports many recreational activities restaurants and special events.
